LIFE at the Green Transition Forum 5.0

The forum will gather over 3 500 participants and 190 speakers from 30 countries, including policymakers, industry leaders and civil society members, to discuss sustainable development, green finance, energy transition and digital innovation. 

The three-day agenda features high-level panels and thematic zones, with discussions on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), climate, transport, renewables, AI and cybersecurity. The first day will concentrate on ESG, climate and transport; the second day will focus on renewables and COP29; and the third day will highlight jobs, AI and cybersecurity. 

The LIFE Programme will actively participate in panel discussions, emphasising the EU's commitment to green innovation and infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe. The Programme will also be promoted actively via the LIFE stand on which comprehensive information on LIFE and funding opportunities will be disseminated. 

Additionally, a Bulgarian LIFE project - LIFE-SIP CLIMA-SUMP is expected to attend and showcase its contributions to environmental sustainability.
